GERMAN!

GUTEN TAG ALLE!

This is going to be a quick update because I have a term's worth of German Extension to fasttrack in a week before my test "T_T" (using Quentin's thing). The story I'm studying at the moment is called "Risiko für Weihnachtsmänner - Risks for Santa" and it is seriously a whacked up story.

Synopsis:
This guy wants to make a quick buck so he signs up to this dodgy Santa agency in a pub which has cold rissoles with gray onion ring sauce. Anyway the organiser called Mulka pretends he's a general organising his soldiers and systematically organises the joy-bringing.

Fast track ------> The guy gets dressed and arrives at his destination. Knocks on the door some thin old scary lady pulls him in and usheres him to hurry up and deliver the presents. They're waiting? But *gasp* WHO?!!!??!

Walks in but sees no children! All he sees is the old man dressed in a black suit *cue raised eyebrows*. Then the woman (the wife of this old man) makes this sign to WHIP THE OLD MAN!

The Santa, now is seriously WTF-ed but this woman keeps frantically gesturing him TO WHIP THE OLD MAN WHIP HIM WHIP HIM!!!!

O_O O_O O_O! Kinky much?

And then the poor Santa finally whips him and the old man goes " THANK YOU YOU HAVE DONE IT! I DIDN'T THINK YOU'D COME THROUGH!"

WTF?!

Then there's this convoluted subplot about how the old man used to be general and once he was bored and radioed HQ to send a Santa but on the way the Santa got shot and ever since the old man has felt guilty.

So this new Santa, who's just trying to make a quick $$$, is suppsoed to be a substitute and reconcile this old man's sin.

BUT what's with the kinky whipping?

ENTER GERMAN CULTURE LESSON!

In some regions of Germany, there is a character called "Knecht Ruprecht" or "Krampus" who accompanies Nikolaus (St. Nicholas) on the 6th of December. He is clothed in rags and carries a birch. He will punish the children who were bad and will give them a birch as a present. He is usually the one who scares the little children. In other parts of Germany, St. Nicholas is followed by a small person called "Schwarz Peter" (Black Peter) who carrys a small whip. Black Peter also accompanies St. Nicholas or Sinterklass in Holland.

Still pretty whacked up if you ask me but whatever.

------------------------------

Hehe, one of our writing tasks was to write a recount of your experience at a recent concert. So I decided to write about THE WONDER GIRLS! WOOT WOOT! I wrote "Yeah I totally love them and I've waited so long for this concert so I waited outside the concert hall gates for ages. When the doors were finally opened there were deafening screams! I knocked out two fat chicks who were in my way cause I wanted to get good seats."

Fun fun fun!

Anyway I shall leave you with this
